this is a weird one. I actually feel sick today. Like stomach sick. I don't feel like eating even though it's 10am and I haven't had breakfast.
Tomorrow, I become radioactive. Here are some notes from the doctor:
Persons under 45 years of age should not remain closer than 6 feet for 72 hours per week for the first two weeks after discharge rfrom the hospital. 3 feet for not more than 100 hours per week for the next two weeks. 4 weeks after discharge from the hospital restrictions are no longer necessary.
Note: During the above times, brief periods of closer contact are permissible.
SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS
A.) Sleeping arrangements: Do not sleep with anyone for two weeks after discharge from the hospital.
B.) Children or pregnant woman: 10 feet or greater distance from the patient for the first two weeks. 6 feet from the patient for the second two weeks.
IF THE PATIENT IS HOSPITALIZED, OR IF DEATH SHOULD OCCUR, NOTIFY THE FOLLOWING INDIVIDUAL(S) IMMEDIATELY:
Dr. So-and-so.
blah blah hospital.
The other night, after 3 weeks of sleeping in a recliner, I decided to go to bed. Oh man, was it comfortable. I slept for like nine hours that night.
Although, last night, I woke up around 2:40pm when the drugs wore off. I still feel like a twingy thing under my jaw on the left side. Especially, when I'm lying down. I didn't redose myself, but I had to find a position lying on my right side to fall asleep.
I notice that I've gained weight since the big poo weight loss last week. This can be construed as evidence of my lack of thyroid hormone. Or my lack of activity. I bought a new weight bench, I should try exercising again this week.
I found this thing called a Shovelglove that I want to try out. It's basically a sledgehammer with a sweater on it. It seems like fun. And I never had a reason to have a sledgehammer before. I think I'll pick one up on the way home from work.
WOO!
so, yeah, went into the office today. After two weeks of being away, I needed to get back for a variety of reasons. Primarily, because i ran out of sick days. Other reasons include:
-totally bored at home.
-stuff needed fixing at work.
I'm proud to say that I successfully fixed stuff. It's interesting that over the course of the day, everyone at the company had to visit my cube and ask how I was doing, shake my hand, and then comment on my sexy voice.
Even though I think I sound more like Harvey Fierstein than Barry White.
Anyways, driving home I started feeling these new worlds of sensation in my neck. Instead of just feeling like a bag of worms, it also felt kinda crampy, stingy, and itchy. I guess, I need a vicodin as a reward for a hard day's work.
