Okay, I haven't really written any reviews of anything for a while so I guess I need to get back into the practice.
Mahoraba is a really cute anime about this guy who is an art student. His aspiration is to draw childrens' books. He comes to this apartment complex that is full of weird characters. The weirdest being the landlady who is a pretty teenage girl. They fall in love with each other but it turns out she has multiple personality disorder. And hilarity ensues.
I've watched 20 or so episodes and I'm so glad that the "they" decided not to make the show solely about the crazy multiple personality disorder girl. The other characters are all so interesting, too. The loud drunk girl, the paranoid jealous friend, the poor lazy mom and her daughter...
They've really fleshed out these secondary characters. Which I guess is typical of these "cohabitation as family" type animes.
