now back pain

why? why? why?

Thank God for tylenol. I think this confirms that the pain from yesterday was more or less due to either lifting something heavy like a 19 inch portrait monitor, or intense exercise, or during the night when I'm asleep a phantom horse comes into my room and tramples on me.

having chest pains

Woke up this morning with a pain in my chest. I started exercising hoping it would just go away. I did 3 miles on my eliptical machine for about 30 or so minutes. Went to work. Around noon it still hurt.

On my lunch break, I went to a doctor's office and had an ekg done. It's all normal. It hurts most when I breath deep. So, the doctor thinks it might be a rib thing.

I sure hope I'm not having a heart attack. But, I must be good if I can walk up and down stairs.

I'm supposed to be doing a marathon in november.

Moon Phase

I love it! Kinda disturbing though. It's about these ghosty hunter type people. And they find this cute girl in a haunted castle. And this guy is all like unaware spiritually and otherwise. I've only seen 7 episodes.

But I can tell it's sort of like another one of those Tenchi type shows where this guy has all these girls like him. And he doesn't really like any of them. And he's all stupid so you're not sure why they want to be with him. But, he's kind and hardworking and all that.

Nevermind the other disturbing fact that some of these girls are preteeny and act this way.

Episode 7 was the best so far. Hazuki has this weird mind control power. And she was like a princess in a castle. So, she's used to ordering people around and getting stuff. During this episode, she tries to stop using her mind control and starts getting real. It's really good!

Alexander

It was the most boring movie I'd ever seen in a long time. There was a fair bit of gayness to it, but it was the lamest gayness ever. For gay, it was teh ghey. La Cage aux Folles was gay in a good way. I get the gayness of Boys Don't Cry. Kiss of the Spider Woman was gay and cool.

But as gaiety goes, Alexander is bad. I respect that Jared Leto did a good job of pretending to be in love with Colin Farrell. But, that didn't save how lame and stupid this entire movie was.

I found myself falling asleep during battle sequences. I woke up and looked over to my friend and asked him if anything was happening yet.

It was only like 3 hours but it felt like 8 years. I say avoid this movie. It's gay in a bad way. And boring as hell.

On the political side of it, you can't help but compare Alexander to Dubya. Not with a line like "I'm conquering Persia to free them!"

You get that both Dubya and Alexander are inept leaders who are waging war to deal with the lack of love they got from their fathers.

spammers use spamarrest

Today, I got a spam from a spammer who claimed to have received email from me. And he wanted to be able to receive my email. So, there's this spam arrest spam telling me to click a link to be able to send mail to him.

Now, call me crazy, I'm not gonna click on some strange link I receive from some stranger about an email I never sent him. Nevermind that the subject was Re: some male enhancement or something.

Pear of Anguish

I just want to record that I am allergic to pears. But, it's my favorite fruit. And it's been years since I've eaten one.

Tonight, as an experiment, I decided to try eating a pear. I thought that it wasn't pears that I was allergic to, but the skin. And not really the skin, the tree pollen embedded in the skin.

So, I first peeled the pear. And then ate it.

And now my mouth and lips are itchy. My food hole feels all weird.

I took a sudafed. It's a decongestant though. I don't know if it does anything for allergies. I don't know why I thought it did something for allergies.

Now, my left eye is all red and itchy.

But, man the pear was good. Mmmmm. It was delicious.

I think I'm gonna try an apple next.
