This here is a book by Chuck Palahniuk. He's the author of the book that became the awesomely twisted movie, Fight Club.

Choke follows in the same vein. It is twisted and screwed up. It has a pathetic loser hero that you both root for and pity. This one is full of sexual situations that are not very sexy. It is both sacriligious and religious.

I liked it. I just ate it up as fast as I could. And now it's stuck in my craw. I feel this uncomfortable lump in my throat. And I think I'm gonna die lonely and sad. I wish someone would rescue me from this hell that I live in. Please, please, someone come save me!
