triplets of belleville
I just saw this movie. Wow! What a wacky and fun and crazy flick.
The animation is tops. It's nothing like disney. The character designs were extreme and marvelous. Everybody is either really fat or really skinny.
Each character had his own weird idiosyncrasy. It was made by French people.
There are no subtitles. And, well, very little dialog either. Subtitles are unnecessary.
It's got everything you need. Chases. Big fat dogs. French Mafia. lots of weird fat people. Big fat bulbous jiggling mounds of blubber. All beautifully animated by Frogs. Oh yeah, frogs. Ew!
I urge you all to see it.
